Forbes' 2024 Billionaires List: Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani has reclaimed his position as the richest man in India and made it to the top 10 richest people in the world, according to the Forbes’ latest '2024 Billionaires List'. Ambani is ranked 9th globally with a net worth of $116 billion. Ambani has seen a significant surge in his wealth from $83.4 billion last year. .
India's second richest man, Gautam Adani, is ranked 17th, with his wealth surging from $47.2 billion to $84 billion while HCL Tech co-founder Shiv Nadar secured the 39th rank with a net worth of $36.9 billion.
The Jindal Group's Savitri Jindal family ($33.5 billion) was ranked 46th, while Sun Pharma's Dilip Shanghvi ($26.7 billion) and Cyrus Poonawalla ($21.3 billion) were ranked 69th and 90th, respectively. Kushal Pal Singh ($20.9 billion) and Kumar Birla ($19.7 billion) secured the 92nd and 98th positions, respectively.

Among the billionaires from Telugu states are:
- Murali Divi and family made it to the 469th rank with a net worth of $6.2 billion (Rs 51,000 crore)
- Prathap C Reddy ranked 1,104 with $3 billion (Rs 26,000 crore)
- GM Rao and PV Ram Prasad Reddy shared the 1,143rd rank with $2.9 billion (Rs 25,000 crore) each.
- Jupally Rameshwar Rao and PP Reddy were ranked 1,438 with $2.3 billion (Rs 19,000 crore) each
- PV Krishna Reddy at 1,496 with $2.2 billion (Rs 18,000 crore)
- M Satyanarayana Reddy secured the 1,623rd rank with $2 billion (Rs 16,000 crore)
- K Satheesh Reddy ranked 1,764 with $1.8 billion (Rs 15,000 crore)
- GV Prasad ranked at 2,046 with $1.5 billion (Rs 12,000 crore)
