Watch: TANA Meet Witnesses Brawl as TDP Members Engage in Fistfights

Pennsylvania, USA : Chaos reigned supreme as the TDP members created ruckus during the meeting of Telugu Association of North America. As the meeting began, the members from Tarani Paruchuri and Satish Vemana groups started arguing over some issue and threw punches at each other. They even tore the clothes of each other. And, all this happened in the presence of TDP NRI president Komati Jayaram.
TANA Conference Kicks-off
The 23rd conference of TANA kicked-off in Philadelphia on Friday. The 3-day event was held at Pennsylvania convention centre. Several prominent Telugu personalities like former vice-president M Venkaiah Naidu, former chief justice of Supreme Court NV Ramana, Telangana minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Tollywood actor N Balakrishna and other film personalities were felicitated during the inaugural.
Scuffle breaks out in TDP meet
The TDP members make it a point to attend the TANA conference without fail. After the banquet dinner on the inaugural day, some office bearers of TANA held a meeting in the convention hall. The participants from both Tarani Paruchuri and Satish Vemana groups were discussing the TDP party affairs and the discussion turned into a heated argument which led to scuffles between the groups.
TDP brings politics in TANA
TANA was once considered to be the prestigious Telugu Association in North America. It used to be a pillar of strength for the Telugu diaspora in the foreign country. Thanks to TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, the Telugu Association is now entangled in internal conflicts. It is alleged that Naidu has used TANA to strengthen his party prospects and due to this the prestigious association is now mired in controversy.
