YSRCP leaders have met AP Chief Election Officer (CEO) Mukesh Kumar Meena and lodged a complaint. Perni Nani, Lella Appireddy, Malladi Vishnu, Manohar Reddy and Narayana Murthy met the CEO. They complained about the role of family members of Chandrababu, Lokesh, Purandeshwari and TDP leaders in the Vizag port container which reportedly carried massive amounts of drugs weighing up to 25,000 kilos.

Former Minister Perni Nani addressed the media after meeting the CEO. He said, "Chandrababu spewed poison against the ruling party without knowing who the drug dealing companies were. Chandrababu came out even before the CBI made statements. Chandrababu's kin and kith are involved in drug dealing. Chandrababu Naidu, his sister-in-law Purandeswari and their children, are the people who are connected with this company."

"In the past, Chandrababu had brought the minister of Singapore. That Singapore minister is currently in jail. Chandrababu has a history of entanglements with mafias in other countries. Chandrababu will stoop to any extent for politics. We have asked the EC to stop TDP from distributing drugs for votes. The CEO said that action will be taken on this. We also complained about Chandrababu's tweet. There are provisions in the EC to take action against false allegations. Chandrababu's wife Bhuvaneshwari has violated the election code.

She has distributed cheques which is a clear violation of the election code. We asked the EC about the action taken against Bhuvaneswari. He said that he would give instructions to the district collectors. The news was written with venom in today's Eenadu newspaper. Today, we have filed a complaint against Eenadu to take action against the baseless allegations," said Perni Nani.
