Utter Flop Show of Alliance’s First Ever Meeting at Chilakaluripet

17 Mar, 2024 21:32 IST|Sakshi Post

The meeting in Chilakaluripet involving Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan turned out to be a major letdown for the attendees. Expectations were high for a grand meeting with a powerful speech from the Prime Minister but his speech took a different tone altogether. Despite the grandeur associated with the Prime Minister's presence, the event lacked fervour. Technical glitches, particularly malfunctioning microphones, added to the disarray, leaving the audience unsettled. Overall, it was an utter flop.

The TDP alliance meeting failed to draw a significant crowd, resulting in poor attendance for an event even with the Prime Minister. Empty chairs dotted the venue as Pawan and Chandrababu addressed the sparse audience. To compensate for the lack of attendees, TDP immediately called activists closer to the stage. This caused disruptions with the sound system blaring. The constant interruptions due to mic failures during Prime Minister Modi's speech led to visible frustration. The lack of enthusiasm from party workers was evident throughout the event.

While the microphones functioned smoothly during Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu's speeches, they repeatedly failed during Prime Minister Modi's address. The repeated cuts in the mic feed during the Prime Minister's speech drew criticism from attendees. They accused the TDP of poor event management. The interruptions, especially during mentions of central schemes, not only tested the patience of the audience but also visibly irked Prime Minister Modi. The lingering tensions from past clashes, particularly Babu's comments on Modi added tension to the atmosphere.

Reports suggest that Prime Minister Modi expressed dissatisfaction with the event's organization in Chilakaluripet. The lack of adequate crowd mobilization and technical failures seemed to have angered Modi. His frustration over the mic issues and the conduct of the meeting was evident.

The Chilakaluripet incident raises questions about the Telugu Desam Party's ability to handle larger events. A party that cannot handle a mere meeting does not stand a chance of winning the upcoming elections.
