Public Mood: Surge in YSRCP's Graph, YS Jagan Set To Retain Power in AP

9 Mar, 2024 08:45 IST|Sakshi Post

The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, has witnessed a significant surge in popularity over the last three weeks. Several ground-level surveys and observations by political analysts indicate a 4% increase in favour of the ruling party.

This surge in popularity can be attributed to several factors. The impact of Siddham meetings led by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has dampened anti-incumbency sentiments, tipping the electoral scales in favor of the YSRCP. Additionally, the issues surrounding the TDP-Janasena alliance have further solidified the party's position. It is likely that the Godavari region will be secured by the YSRCP without any doubt.

Women voters, along with SC/ST/BC/Minorities, are predominantly leaning towards the YSRCP. The majority of independent women voters in these regions favour the ruling party, irrespective of their religion or political beliefs. This shift in voter preferences is also evident from the betting activity in coastal districts, where the majority of stakes are placed on the YSRCP's victory at the state, district, and constituency levels.

At this hour, it is challenging to change the prevailing atmosphere and reverse the tide in favor of the TDP-Janasena coalition. Regardless of their alliance with the BJP, they don't have the necessary impetus to beat the YSRCP. The signs of a pro-YSRCP wave are evident, and the party is set for significant changes ahead of the 2024 general elections, with at least 50 sitting MLAs expected to be replaced.

The YSRCP is experiencing a surge in popularity, poised to retain power in Andhra Pradesh with a significant vote share, making it a formidable force in the upcoming elections.
