In a cheque bounce case, the local court in Ongole ruled against film producer and actor Bandla Ganesh. The court pronounced one-year imprisonment for Bandla Ganesh.

In a cheque bounce case of Rs 95 lakh filed by a financier, the second Additional District Justice (ADJ), who heard the case, ordered him to pay a settlement of Rs 95 lakh within 30 days and also ordered him to serve a one-year prison term.

The court permitted Bandla to go for appeal on the verdict within 30 days. Bandla Ganesh is yet to respond to the verdict. More details are awaited.

Going into details, Bandla took a loan of Rs 95 lakh from a person named Janaki Ramaiah of Maddiralapadu in 2019. But after the death of Janaki Ramaiah, Bandla Ganesh gave a cheque of Rs.95 lakh to his father. As the check given by him bounced, Janaki Ramaiah's father approached the court. The court that investigated the matter gave a verdict imposing imprisonment and a fine.
