Manchu Mohan Babu’s Open Letter on Politics

Hyderabad: Taking cognizance of the use of his name for political reasons, veteran Telugu actor and an educationist Mohan Babu has made an earnest appeal to all political parties and media outlets to refrain from using his name to gain personal benefits. 

In his open letter, Mohan Babu said it has been brought to his attention that some people are using his name for their own benefits. “I request everyone to refrain from using my name for your own political reason,” Mohan Babu said in his letter which was posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Noting that the world is full of people with different opinions, the Telugu actor said that our focus should be to help the needy people and it is unfortunate that the people, who are not linked to any political party, are being discussed in the political circle. 

Distancing himself from active politics, the actor said that if anyone tries to draw political mileage from his name and fame, he will take legal recourse against them.
