APFDC Chairman Posani Krishna Murali strongly criticized Pawan Kalyan for his political moves and accused him of being a liar and a cheat. Posani also expressed his disappointment in Pawan Kalyan's decision to support Nara Chandrababu Naidu, whom he believes was responsible for the death of Kapu leader Vangaveeti Ranga. He claimed that Ranga was killed because he was more popular than NTR and that he was targeted because he was surpassing NTR's influence in those days.

Posani questioned why all Kapus should vote for Chandrababu Naidu. He stated that Pawan Kalyan has turned people's anguish into opportunism. He further commented on the Kapu community, stating that they are a community of land-owning cultivators and one of the dominant castes of Andhra Pradesh. He also mentioned that Kapus have been attempting to gain political power in the state, and their votes play a decisive role in around 70 to 75 Assembly seats.

Posani further accused Pawan Kalyan of not speaking up when Mudragada was harassed by Chandrababu Naidu and influenced by Nadendla Manohar. Murali pointed out that Pawan Kalyan has not been consistent in his political stance. Pawan had once supported Narendra Modi and KCR, but now he has joined hands with Chandrababu Naidu.

Posani also criticized Pawan Kalyan for not standing up for Kapu girls when they were insulted by Chandrababu Naidu and for meeting with those who insulted the Kapus. He has also questioned Pawan Kalyan, who was born in the Kamma caste, now supporting Chandrababu Naidu, who is also a Kamma.
