Every SC Family Is Benefited Through Navaratnalu

Minister for Social Welfare Pinipe Viswarup in the Assembly meeting said that every SC family is benefitted through Navaratnalu. He further added that fee reimbursement is given to the students and Amma Vodi is also one of the most useful schemes implemented by the ruling YSRCP government. He said that financial assistance of Rs. 15,000 is given to the students every year and this amount is credited into the bank accounts of mothers of the students.

He further stated that the government is providing financial assistance of Rs. 75,000 in a period of five years through YSR Cheyutha. More than 5 lakh beneficiaries are getting benefitted through YSR Cheyutha. Special courts have been set up to hear SC and ST rape cases. There are currently 1070 social welfare hostels in the state. The government is paying special attention to the health of students. He also said that eye examinations have been conducted for nearly one lakh SC students to date.
