The Election Commission of Andhra Pradesh (AP) has made appointments for Collectors and Superintendents of Police (SPs) in various districts of the state. The appointments come after the recent transfer of officers and the new appointees are expected to join their duties before 8pm today.
DK Balaji has been appointed as the Collector of the Krishna district, while Vinod Kumar will serve as the collector of Anantpur district. Praveen Kumar has been given the responsibility of serving as the collector of the Tirupati district.
On the other hand, Sumit Sunil has been appointed as the Superintendent of Police of Prakasam district. Bindhu Madhav will serve as the SP of Palnadu district, while Manikantha Chandolu has been appointed as the SP of the Chittoor district. Amit Bardar will be the new SP of Anantapur district and Arif Hazeez will serve as the SP of Nellore district. Sarvashesta Tripathi, the Inspector General of Police (IG) has been transferred to the Guntur district.
The Election Commission has made these appointments to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the administrative machinery during the upcoming elections. The new appointees are expected to bring their experience and expertise to their respective roles and contribute to the democratic process in the state.
