
New Delhi: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy arrived in the national capital to discuss pending issues related to the Andhra Pradesh state and to seek funds for the Polavaram project. During his stay, YS Jagan will call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and other Union Ministers.
The chief minister was welcomed by YSRCP MPs Vijayasai Reddy and Midhun Reddy at the airport. Soon after landing in New Delhi on Wednesday, the chief minister drove to the residence of the Home Minister and called on Amit Shah.
YS Jagan urged Amit Shah to release the pending funds for Andhra Pradesh. The unresolved issues related to the state were also discussed in the meeting. The chief minister is expected to meet Pm Modi at 4.30 pm and he will call on the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at 6 pm.
