"'420 gang' destroys the aspirations of the poor, but the YSRCP implemented schemes by understanding their dreams: CM Jagan"

"Are you all ready to teach a lesson to the Chandrababu-led opposition alliance, whose job is to deceive people? asks CM Jagan"

Vizianagaram: “To fulfill your dreams, you have Jagan's schemes in Andhra Pradesh,” said Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy while noting that the government has implemented over 40 schemes by understanding the dreams of the poor, during the public meeting near Chelluru Junction in Vizianagaram as part of his Memantha Siddham Yatra on Tuesday evening.

“The upcoming elections are not only for electing MPs and MLAs but to protect the welfare schemes benefiting every household in the state for the next five years. It is also to continue the doorstep delivery of the government services,” said Chief Minister Jagan.

Calling the opposition parties as indirect supporters of Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister Jagan said, “From Congress, BJP, Pawan Kalyan led JSP to vested interest regional media in Andhra Pradesh, everyone is supporting TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu one way or the other. As if it is not enough, they are campaigning with conspiracies and lies,” said CM Jagan.

“In these 58 months of rule, I have implemented welfare schemes benefiting all the households. But they have failed to introduce even a single scheme to the people in the previous administration. Now they are trying to defeat the poor supported by the YSRCP government,” CM Jagan said.

“We want to continue the development of every family. Are you all ready to teach a lesson to the Chandrababu-led opposition alliance, whose job is to deceive people's dreams?,” quipped CM Jagan.

Coming down heavily on Chandrababu Naidu and his alliance partners, CM Jagan said, “Political leaders who deceive people with fake election promises should be called '420.' The unholy alliance in Andhra that has ganged up to destroy the dreams and aspirations of the poor people should be called the ‘Chandramukhi Gang’ or the ‘420 gang’. Meanwhile, we have implemented over 40 schemes by understanding the dreams of the people. We have deposited more than Rs 2.7 lakh crore directly into the accounts of women beneficiaries and another Rs 1 lakh crore through Non-DBT schemes,” CM Jagan said.

When children couldn’t attend school due to poverty, the government introduced the Amma Vodi scheme to realize the dreams of the poor, said Chief Minister Jagan.

He added, “We have introduced English medium schools, CBSE to IB curriculum, TOEFL training from the third grade, Byju's content, digital teaching from the sixth grade, and Tabs in eighth grade after understanding the dreams of people.”

“We have introduced educational and accommodation benefits for 93 percent of the children who are studying in higher education. Further, we have brought in changes in the curriculum and mandatory internships for the degree,” said CM Jagan.

Chief Minister YS Jagan explained the women's welfare schemes implemented by YSRCP like Asara, YSR Zero Interest Scheme, and YSR Cheyutha to support SC, ST, BC, and minorities, Kapu Nestham, EBC Nestham. “But there were no such schemes during Chandrababu’s regime,” said CM Jagan.

The government has given house titles in the name of 31 lakh women beneficiaries, and out of which 21 lakh houses are being constructed, according to CM Jagan.

He also added the steps taken by the state like 17 new medical colleges, the development of 4 new ports, 10 fishing harbors, 6 fish landing centers, 15,000 village ward secretariats, 11,000 village ward clinics, and 11,000 Rythu Bharosa Kendras, a new airport, 3 industrial corridors, and 10 industrial nodes, attracting investments over Rs 1 lakh crore.

The Chief Minister also explained the failed promises of Chandrababu Naidu including farm loan waiver. “He said loan waiver would be his first signature after becoming Chief Minister, but it was a lie. He promised to retrieve farmers' gold pledged in banks, but he remained silent when banks seized it,” said Chief Minister Jagan.
