Nellore: As polling surveys predict an overwhelming victory for the ruling YSRCP in the upcoming assembly elections, party leaders and workers from opposition parties continue to shift their allegiances. On Sunday, as many as 100 leaders from the Jana Sena Party joined the ruling party.

YSRCP's Lok Sabha candidate for the Nellore parliamentary constituency, V Vijayasai Reddy, welcomed them into the party fold by offering them party scarves. Speaking on the occasion, Vijayasai Reddy stated that the Pawan Kalyan-led Jana Sena Party has no political future, despite casteist and communal parties joining forces to contest the May 13 elections.

Reddy expressed confidence that the YSRCP is poised to win all seven assembly seats in the Nellore region in the forthcoming elections. Launching his poll campaign from Nellore, the senior YSRCP leader said he has worked as a regional coordinator for all the districts of the state. He remarked that the TDP has failed to find a single winnable Lok Sabha candidate in the district.
