Fifteen more people have died in the floods. Fifteen bodies were found floating in the floodwaters yesterday, bringing the death toll to 47. The morgue at the Vijayawada Government Hospital received 22 bodies by Wednesday evening, of which 11 were identified after post-mortem, while six were too decomposed to be recognized.
