The telecom war in India continues to swing between network operators Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel, trying to lure customers by offering discounts. In a fresh move, Airtel revised its tally of daily data from 1.4 GB to 2.4 GB on its Rs 399 recharge plan. However, the new data limit, which is the cheapest at close to Rs 2 per GB, is confined to select Airtel users currently.

The 70-day validity plan from Airtel will continue to offer the original data limit of 1.4 GB per day, along with the 100 SMS add-on.

For Rs 399, Jio currently provides a daily data limit of 1.5 GB, against 2 GB on its Rs 448 package, for 84 days, in addition to unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day. Also, Jio users can access all the digital content on its exclusive app, Jio TV.

Recently, Jio introduced a 20% cashback offer, "Holiday Hungama," which provides up to a maximum of Rs 50 for every purchase of a recharge plan. Users can avail the cashback by making the payment through PhonePe, from the MyJio app or Jio website.
