CBSE 12 Class Results Declared 

The most-awaited CBSE Class 12th Results 2018 have been announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education today at 12.19pm. Students can check their results on CBSE Board's official website cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in. You could also check your results on examresults.net

The number of passouts in CBSE Class 12 exams is said to be 83.01%. The CBSE class 12 topper is Meghna Srivastava of Step by Step School has scored 99.8%

Girls pass percentage: While 88.31% of girls who appeared for the exams have cleared the CBSE Class 12 exams, the pass percentage among boys is said to be 78.99%.

The Central Board of Secondary Education's (CBSE) Class 12 result was declared on Saturday, with the overall pass percentage increasing by 1 per cent to 83.01.

Of the 11,06,772 students who had appeared for the Class 12 examination, 9,18,763 students passed the examination, a statement said.

The exam was held between March 5 and April 27.

The first three spots were bagged by girls and all-India topper, Meghna Srivastava, scored 499 of 500.

In the overall results also, girls performed better than boys by 9.32 per cent, as the pass percentage for girls was 88.31, while is was 78.99 of boys.

Students of Trivandrum region topped with a pass per cent of 97.32, followed by Chennai with 93.87 per cent and Delhi 89 per cent.

Earlier, Anil Swarup, Secretary, Human Resources Development Ministry, Government of India, informed the news with his tweet: "CBSE Class 12 results for Academic Session 2017-18 to be declared on 26th of May."

More than 28 lakh students have registered for the CBSE Class 10th and CBSE Class 12 examinations, out of which 16,38,420 and 11,86,306 students belonged to Class 10th and Class 12th respectively. The CBSE 12th Class Examinations 2018 were held at 4,453 centres across India, while 4,138 centres in India and 71 centres abroad conducted the CBSE 12th Class Examinations 2018, which were held between March 5 to April 13.

Where to check CBSE Class 12 Result 2018?

The CBSE XII Class Results will be available on cbse.examresults.net, cbseresults.nic.in and results.gov.in.

As per the CBSE statistics, boys exceeded the number of girls who have called up the CBSE counselling helpline with their stress-related queries during CBSE 12th Class Examinations 2018. Last year, the Class 12 CBSE results were announced in the last week of May, while the Class 10th CBSE Results were declared in the first week of June.

• Click Class 12 Exam Results

• Enter roll number and other details

• Click Submit

• Take a print of the result for further reference

However, the date of release of the CBSE Class 10 results is not known yet. The CBSE Class 12 exams were originally scheduled to be held between March 3 and April 13. But, the exams spanned until April 25, when a re-exam of CBSE Class 12th Economics paper following reports of paper leakage were witnessed.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is the apex board that looks after the development and propagation of secondary and higher secondary education in India. The board has been the part of the long history that has seen the development of school-level education in India. The CBSE took the final shape that it operates today in the year 1952.
