A still from Awe

Nani's recent release Awe is receiving great accolades from celebrities and public alike. The film has kept the cash registers ringing at the box office since its opening day. The film is having a dream run at the over seas box office. The Telugu flick, Awe has grossed $600k Mark in just four days at the ticket window.

Every actor in the movie has paid justice to her character. Leading ladies Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen and Regina have lent life to their characters. As we already told you Nani has lent his voice to a fish while Ravi Teja has lent his voice to a tree in the second half of the movie and his character lasts for less than twenty minutes.

Awe is a content-driven film which has a unique concept. This is Nani's first film in 2018 after MCA which was released around Christmas. Middle Class Abbayi became a blockbuster hit and still roaring at the box office. Now, although Nani has chosen the right script in Awe, his fans are disappointed due to his absence on the screen.

The film is facing tough competition from Mahesh Babu Sister Manjula's debut film Manasuku Nachindi which was released on the same date. both Awe and Manasuku Nachindi are performing well at the box office. But looks like Nani has a winner in hand as there seems to be no effect in its collections due to the release of Sundeep Kishan’s Manasukuku Nachindi which has opened to mixed reviews from the audiences.

The film has managed to collect $611,416 on its fifth day including from the premiere shows at the box office. Awe is directed by debut director Prashanth Varma and produced by Nani. The music is composed by Mark K Robin. Few of the songs have struck a chord with the audiences.

Nani is yet to finalize on who to sell his Awe satellite rights to. We hear that a few buyers have come forward to purchase it. But Nani has demanded a hefty price of Rs 5 Cr but they are negotiating it for Rs 4 Cr. Which channel will grab the rights is yet to be known. Watch this space for latest updates.
