Mekapati inaugurates Santi Yatra in Nellore

Nellore MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy inaugurated Santi Yatra in the name of Vande Gandhiyam in Nellore on Sunday.

The padayatra was inaugurated at a Gandhi statue in the city and it will end at Gandhi Ashram at Pallipadu. Well known singer Gazal Srinivas is one of the organizers of the program.

Sabarmati Gandhi Ashram and Nellore Red Cross Society are the other organizers of the peace march.

The main intention of the program is popularizing the Sabarmati Ashram.

District Collector N.Srikanth, MLAs Anil Kumar Yadav and Sanjeevaiah, ZP Chairman Raghavendra Reddy, several officials and leaders and students in large number participated in the program.
