Man Attempts To Break Into Andhra Bank In Saidabad

Hyderabad: The Saidabad police revealed on Monday that a person tried to break into an Andhra Bank branch located in Vinay Nagar Colony in IS Sadan division of Saidabad, through an ATM situated on the bank premises.

The bank branch located opposite to Boji Reddy Engineering College has an ATM attached to it. The two are separated by a grill and glass pane. On Sunday night an unidentified person entered the ATM and tried to gain entry into the bank by breaking through the glass panes. He however could not make his way through the grill and so gave up on the attempt and left the place.

Interestingly none of the bank's three CCTV cameras were able to capture the man or the crime. Malakpet ACP C.H Sudhakar and Saidabad inspector Satthiahlu visited the scene of the crime on Monday. The police have registered a case and are examining footage from other CCTV cameras.
