Major Mishap In Sabarimala, 14 Cops From Andhra Pradesh Injured

As many as 14 police personnel from Andhra Pradesh on duty in Kerala's pilgrimage centre Sabarimala were grievously injured when their vehicle was hit by a Kerala state transport corporation vehicle in Sabarimala. The condition of eight of the injured police men is stated to be critical. They have been admitted into a nearby government hospital for treatment.

According to sources, the AP police personnel were on duty at Sabarimala to control the pilgrim rush from Andhra Pradesh. They have reportedly completed their duties and were returning home. The vehicle they were traveling in was hit by a speeding Kerala RTC bus. The police vehicle was badly mangled in the accident.
