Jagan meets Karat, seeks support for 'Samaikyandhra'

YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday urged CPM General Secretary Prakash Karat to oppose the Andhra Pradesh Reorganistion Bill 2013.

He along with Nellore MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy and many other leaders from YSRCP met Prakash Karat. "State division is against the spirit of the constitution," Jagan said.

He also sought Karat's support to keep the state united.

Previously, Jagan, in a bid to garner support for 'Samaikyandhra', had met many national leaders. He is again meeting some of them to gain support against the tabling of the Bill.
