Hyderabad: Income Tax officials raided the ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ filmmaker Krish and its producer Rajeev Reddy. Along with them the official also raided office of famous Nizam distributor Sudhakar Reddy. Sudhakar is the father of popular actor Nithiin, who dictributed GPS in Nizam region.
GPS is made on a whopping Rs 45 crore and the movie was also given tax exemption in Andhra Pradesh paving a way to rake in more moolah.
The motive behind the raids is said that none of the film unit has so far disclosed its profits including its overseas collections. Secondly, the Khaidi No 150 which was released a day before GPS has disclosed its collections unlike Balakrishna’s film.

Interestingly, this is the first time that raids have been into director’s house as it is believed that Krish too has his share in the collections.
Similarly, last year IT raids conducted offices of ‘Baahubali’ producers Prasad Devineni and Shobhu Yarlagadda
