Image Of Dog Hugging Injured, Unconscious Owner Till Medical Help Arrives Goes Viral

Argentina: A dog in Argentina proved the adage that 'dog is a man's best friend' as right. It refused to leave its unconscious owner, who fell down from a tree on Saturday.

The owner, whose name is Jesus Hueche, was pruning a tree outside their home in Argentina when he slipped and fell from a height of about 6 feet onto to the concrete sidewalk below. He fell on his head and became consciousness. But the dog named Tony was by his side until the ambulance arrived.

As the doctors were putting a neck brace on Hueche, the doggie was still hugging his owner. The dog caught hold of his master until he patted it and said he was fine. The dog even tried to climb into the ambulance to go with his owner. Eventually, the dog owner has recovered and has returned home.

"One day, we saw him on the street and adopted him, gave him love, food and he is part of our family," Hueche said. "For me he’s like my son," he added.

The images of the dog's tender reaction during Hueche's rescue went viral on social media.
