Honour Killing Of Dalit Youth Amboji Naresh: Police Secure Clues From Crime Scene
Hyderabad: The sensational honour killing of Dalit youth Amboji Naresh assumed significance with the police gathering clues from the site where the victim was murdered and charred to death a fortnight ago.
He was murdered by Srinivas Reddy with the help his relatives at Lingarajupally village in Atmakur mandal of Yadadri district. On Saturday, the police took the accused Srinivas Reddy and Sattireddy to the crime scene where Naresh was murdered. The police along with the CLUES team collected soil samples and other potential evidence material to send to forensic laboratory.
Tummala Swathi and Naresh who were childhood friends had fallen in love. Since parents from both the sides refused the inter-caste marriage, Swathi allegedly committed suicide on May 16.
