Heritage parlour atop Tirumala kicks up a storm

Setting up of a parlour by Heritage Milk, a company that is run by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's wife, on Tirumala Hills in contravention of established rules, has kicked up a storm.

While only state-run Vijaya Dairy is allowed to set up shops atop Tirumala, Chandrababu family's Heritage too has recently opened a parlour.
"It is unfair on the part of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu to use famous hill shrine Tirumala for his business," said YSR Congress Party MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy.
Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, the YSRCP MLA sought to know how permission was given for a Heritage parlor on Tirumala Hills.
He further alleged that Chandrababu is trying to convert TTD into his pocket borough and TDP officials were in cahoots with him..
"He might soon rename Tirumala as 'Heritage' tirumala" quipped Chevireddy.
