Governor Narasimhan calls on Shinde

AP governor ESL Narasimhan met the Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde here on Wednesday. It is learnt that the two discussed the political situation in the state.

The governor earlier met officials at the Union Home Ministry and the intelligence department. He is also likely to meet  the Congress president Sonia Gandhi and the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

The Governor's meeting attained significance following the Shinde's recent statement that he would meet all the top leaders of AP to discuss on the Telangana issue.

It may be recalled that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana had met top leaders in the Congress Party recently and gave feedback on the 'T'-issue.
