Girl dies on the last day of her board exams

  In an unfortunate incident, a girl who was on her way to write her last board examination, died after a car hit her in Srikakulam district.

The incident took place at Chittupudivalasa village in Veeraghattam mandal in Srikakulam district, on Tuesday, when the girl was on her way to her examination hall.

The girl died on the spot. Villagers protested over the inaction of the police and said that the police left the car and did not enquire after the case.   They drove away the police personnel who came to the area.
