Gadwal MLA DK Aruna ‘Resigns’!!!

Senior Congress leader DK Aruna on Saturday 'resigned' from the Telangana Assembly.

Interestingly, she held a press conference and said that since the TRS Government was not ready to announce Gadwal district only because she was the MLA representing Gadwal, she has sent her resignation to the chief minister. She said she has sent a letter to KCR asking him to forward her resignation letter to the Speaker.

DK Aruna, who has been spearheading a movement for Gadwal district has said that the people Gadwal want a separate district and conducted several padayatras and dharnas to press for the demand. Yet, KCR has chosen not to respond and react. Hence, she has decided to resign, she said.
