Prabhas To Take A Long Break After Saaho Like Allu Arjun

Prabhas who became a household name with popular franchise 'Baahubali', which was directed by Rajamouli. Post 'Baahubali' he received a slew of offers from filmmakers in Hindi and Telugu but he decided to do 'Saaho' with Sujeeth. The film was in the making for more than two years and released on Friday, August 30. There is no doubt that Prabhas has put in a lot of hard work in 'Saaho'. Sadly, the film failed to win the heart of audiences. Surprisingly, 'Saaho' is doing exceptionally well at the box office in all languages. The filmmakers may earn the invested amount by the first weekend collections. So far, it has earned approximately Rs 180 Cr nett at the Indian box office.

Looks like Prabhas might be following the footprints of Allu Arjun. It is a known fact that after the debacle of 'Naa Peru Surya' Allu Arjun took a gap of six months to move on and take up a new project. Here the case is same with Prabhas, who kept his current project 'Jaan' on hold for 'Saaho' promotions. After 'Saaho' result, Prabhas is believed to have changed his decision. If reports are to go by, Prabhas's upcoming film 'Jaan' is reportedly shelved, as per the sources. However, an official confirmation regarding the news is awaited. Speculations are doing the rounds that Prabhas is not ready to take another risk as 'Jaan' is billed at Rs 150 Cr. The makers are believed that there will be strong impact of 'Saaho' on 'Jaan'. We have to wait and watch whether they really shelved the project or not.
