Megastar Chiranjeevi is the undisputed king of Tollywood box office. He is known to be one of those legendary actors with a heart of gold. He has always encourage d new talent--aspiring actors and filmmakers in the industry. In Telugu, we have dozens of actors from Mega family and some of them were introduced by Chiranjeevi to the industry. Chiranjeevi is undoubtedly thrilled on seeing the career success graph of these aspiring actors in Tollywood. Recently, Chiranjeevi wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming film 'Sye Raa'. He is gearing up to move on to a new film, which will be directed by Sukumar as per a trusted source. The film is expected to go on floors sometime in August.

Talking about the next Chiranjeevi's next movie after Sukumar, we had reported that the megastar was likely to work with Nag Ashwin who delivered the blockbuster hit 'Mahanati'. The film starred Keerthy Suresh and Dulquer Salmaan in the lead roles and it was a biopic of yesteryear telugu actress Savitri. We all know that following the success of 'Mahanati', Chiranjeevi felicitated Nag Ashwin and also asked him to come up with a new script so they could work together. Grapevine had it that Nag Ashwin, who was excited at the prospect of working with him and inspired by Chiranjeevi's words, was working on a sequel to the yesteryear classic 'Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari' which featured late actress Sridevi.

Reports said that Ashwin even penned scripts with different versions for the sequel and that Chiranjeevi rejected the script much to the disappointment of the director. The latest we hear is that there's not an iota of truth to the reports. According to an industry insider, Chiranjeevi did express his desire to work with Nag Ashwin. However, nothing materialised later as he has been super busy with Sye Raa. The senior actor is much sought after even after his comeback and we all know the phenomenal success of Khaidi No. 150 which featured Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead. The source tells us that Chiranjeevi has no dates till next year for anybody. Soon as he wraps up his film with Similar, he has a movie with none other than Trivikram lined up. So his calendar is full for the next and a half. So the question of him working with another director doesn't arise at all as it's not a possibility given his busy schedule.

Working with an iconic star like Chiranjeevi is a dream come true for many. We hope Nag Ashwin gets a chance to work with him soon whenever it happens.

In the meantime, Chiranjeevi's 'Sye Raa' is all set to arrive in theatres soon . The film is directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan.
