Hyderabad: The 72nd Cannes Film Festival kicked off in Cannes, France on Thursday. It is an annual film festival which previews new films of all genres.

Actor Kangana Ranaut walked the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival in a traditional Kanjeevaram sari styled with a sequined corset and gloves. She said that Bollywood changed a lot in the past few years and now female actors do not have to fit into stereotypes and can find a place for themselves.

She was speaking at the Indian India Pavilion of the ongoing Cannes Film Festival. The national award-winning actor is presenting Vodka brand Grey Goose at Cannes. Secretary of Ministry of Information Amit Khare and Broadcasting and Central Board of Film Certification chief Prasoon Joshi were also present.
