Superstar Mahesh Babu and Sukumar share a mutual respect with each other. During 'Maharshi' pre-release event, Mahesh Babu has mentioned some of the director names and thanked them for giving opportunities and blockbuster hits in his career. He forgot to mention Sukumar and Puri Jagannadh. This didn't go well with some netizens, who trolled Mahesh Babu on social media. Recently, Mahesh Babu opened up about the differences between him and Sukumar. He slammed the rumours in one of his interviews saying, “Sukumar narrated an intense & depth plot while I was looking out for an entertaining one. So, I choose Anil Ravipudi’s script instead of Sukumar and even he was content with that. I will definitely collaborate with him in the future.”

Looks like everything is fine between Mahesh and Sukumar. As only two days are left for 'Maharshi' to open in theatres, Telugu stars are sending out best wishes and predicting 'Maharshi' would smash all records.

The latest one to join in the bandwagon list is Sukumar, who spoke about the movie in a video posted by Mahesh Babu's wife Namrata on Instagram. Sukumar said that 'Maharshi' will be a blockbuster hit at the box office and wished Mahesh Babu for 'Maharshi' success. This gesture surely should calm the fans down and end all the reports regarding any fall out between the duo.
