Sunny Leone and Mammootty are facing the ire of the netizens after a picture of them together garnered a lot of negative comments. The impact of the mocking resulted in the picture being taken down from Facebook.

The picture in question is a still from an item song in the movie Madhura Raja and, features Sunny Leone along with Mammootty seated on a couch with men surrounding them. It surfaced on social media recently after actor Aju Varghese posted the photograph on Facebook with a caption, which read,'Akka with Ikka' translating to 'Sister with brother.'

Instantly, the picture created a lot of buzz on Facebook with people sending a lot of hate comments directly targeting the actors. Even though both Sunny Leone and Mammootty were complimented for their look, a series of sexist comments led to the photograph finally being taken off Facebook.

Even though the photo was shared on Instagram and Twitter as well, Facebook became the platform which witnessed major amount of trolling, as a result, it was deleted from the social media platform.

Sunny Leone, who will be featuring in an item number in Madhura Raja starring Mammootty in the titular role, has also bagged two more Malayalam movies - Rangeela and Veeramadevi.

Madhura Raja is a sequel to the film Pokkiri Raja and also features Nedumudi Venu, Jai, Anusree, Bijukuttan, Bala among others.
