Ravi Teja Takes A Pay Cut After Consecutive Flops

Actor Ravi Teja is going rough phase in his career. There was a time not very long ago, when Ravi Teja's films would be surefire successes at the box office. However, these days Ravi Teja's film are struggling hard to survive at the box office. Audiences are rejecting them even though Ravi Teja enjoys a decent mass fan following.

He was last seen in Nela Ticket and Amar Akbar Anthony which received mixed reviews from critics and a lukewarm response from audiences. Both the films were therefore, declared biggest flops in his career as well as at the box office.

A few days back, it was speculated that Ravi Teja's market in the Telugu states has dipped due to new actors coming in on to the scene. Speaking about his upcoming project, Ravi Teja has moved on with his next project which will be directed by VI Anand. It will be bankrolled by Ram Talluri of SRT Entertainments. When it comes to remuneration Ravi Teja it is learnt, is ready to compromise now. He is prepared to climb down from his high perch in terms of payment, sources say. Back to back flops appear to be the principal reason for this. It is being speculated that he is now settling down for 5 crores, while the buzz was that he used to charge twice as much.

On the other side, Ravi Teja should focus on potential scripts which strike a chord among the audiences. He has to move on from doing routine scripts in order to be producer favourite person.
