Jr NTR Hikes Remuneration After Aravinda Sametha Success?
Aravinda Sametha is synonymous with Jr NTR and the association is a powerful one. Jr NTR's career graph has climbed up steadily in 2018. For a decade now, Jr NTR has been enthralling us with various roles in different avatars. A film with Jr NTR fetches Rs 100 Cr by its opening weekend. Aravinda Samtha continues to do unstoppable business at the worldwide box office.
Jr NTR is is yet to kick-start his next project film shoot. Currently, he is prepping for his role rigorously to get the looks needed in terms of physique under famous fitness trainer Lloyd Stevens who has worked with Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh and Hrithik Roshan. Jr NTR reunites with Rajamouli after a gap of ten years.
The last film in which NTR Jr and Rajamouli came together was Yamadonga which has become an all-time superhit film in Tollywood. Rajamouli's #RRR film has already begun pre-production work. Rajamouli is looking out for the right kind of plush areas for some of the scenes, it is said.
The combination film with Rajamouli, Jr NTR and Ram Charan is among the costlier high budget films to be made. Analysts put the cost at around Rs 300 Cr. Ongoing reports suggest that Jr NTR and Ram Charan have signed the project without total faith in Rajamouli's script.
It may be recalled that Rajamouli gave Charan's Magadheera and Jr NTR's Yamadonga blockbuster hits in his career at the time of when they were going through a rough phase.
Lately, what we hear is that Jr NTR has jacked up his remuneration for Rajamouli's film. Not only that, Jr NTR has hiked his pay for future films and other endorsements deals. Murmurs are doing the rounds that Jr NTR's pay check could get bigger and thicker than that of Prabhas for Baahubali. Grapevine has it that Jr NTR could get paid a lump sum in the range of Rs 30 to 33 Cr. While Prabhas is believed to have got paid Rs 25 Cr for Baahubali and is the highest paid actor compared to other leading actors like Anushka, Rana, Nassar and Ramya Krishna. However, let us wait for an official word on this. One thing is for sure; Jr. NTR is on a high and is winging it higher in Tollywood.
