Vijay Deverakonda is basking in the success of his latest outing Geetha Govindam which is performing well at the box office. Deverakonda has become a sensational star of Tollywood with back to back hits. So far, Deverakonda has worked in three films-Arjun Reddy, Pelli Chopulu and latest release Geetha Govindam.

There were rumors that some Tollywood actors are jealous of Deverakonda Tollywood success. So far, many of the films have released in the first quarter of 2018 but only Ram Charan's Rangasthalam, Mahesh Babu's Bharat Ane Nenu and Keerthy Suresh's Mahanati have become blockbusters hits of 2018. Those were big-ticket films which drew a massive audience from across the globe. Deverakonda's Geetha Govindam is a small budget film but is minting substantial moolah at the box office since its opening day.

Pelli Choopulu: Vijay made his debut with Pelli Choopulu which was declared a box office and earned a whoppingv Rs 14 Crores. The film did a pre-release business of Rs 1.25 Cr but its final collections were said to be around Rs 15 Cr.

Arjun Reddy: Deverakonda became a rising star with Arjun Reddy. We need not tell you that Deverakonda's Arjun Reddy was a big hit in his career. Arjun Reddy raked in around Rs 5 Cr before its release and its lifetime collections were said to be a whopping 25 Cr at the box office. The film earned Rs 20 Cr as profit share to filmmakers.

Geetha Govindam: Deverakonda's image got a makeover after his recent release Geetha Govindam which has garnered as much fame and moolah as his last film Arjun Reddy which was a huge hit at the box office. Geetha Govindam was produced by Allu Aravind under Geetha Arts. The pre-release business of the movie is said to be Rs 15 Cr. Geetha Govindam has already been declared as a profitable venture at the box office. Geetha Govindam is still running successfully in theatres. Even before the final collections, Geetha Govindam had made Rs 45 cr of which Rs 30 cr is said to be the profit share of filmmakers.

Deverakonda is all of three films of but has become the most sought after and bankable actor in Tollywood. His three films have attracted the youth has is being dubbed as the latest youth sensation in Tollywood.
