After ‘Rajadhi Raja’ tanked at the box-office, actor Sharwanand drew flak from Cheran - director of the film.
At a press conference held in Chennai recently, the filmmaker leveled allegations against Sharwanand and said that the actor should own responsibility for the failure of the film. The Tamil director also accused the actor of failing to turn up for movie’s promotions.
“He has not attended even a single promotional event for the film,” Cheran alleged.
However, a source aware of the development said that the filmmaker’s bilingual film was already released in Tamil titled ‘JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkkai’ in 2015 and there was no point in releasing the Telugu version in 2016.
“Despite not being fully paid, Sharwanand dubbed his part and there is no point leveling charges against him,” the source further said.
