DGP reviews electricity employees' flash strike

Andhra Pradesh DGP B.Prasada Rao responded on the flash strike of 75,000 strong electricity employees in the state.

DGP warned that strict action will be taken against those who violate the law in the name of flash strike.

He advised the employees to solve their problems by holding discussions with the government and higher officials.

We will take strict action on those employees who try to create any kind of obstacles for power transmission for people, organizations and manufacturing units in the state,” warned the DGP.

The DGP reviewed the situation with the concerned officials on the strike. He ordered to take enough security measures at Vidhyut Soudha, power sub stations, railway tracks and other key establishments. He talked to all district SPs and Commissioners of Police in the state to take stock of the situation.
