
TRS chief KCR said a dalit leader would be elevated as first Chief Minister if Telangana state was formed.
Addressing a meeting at Station Ghanpur in Warangal district on Wednesday, KCR reiterated his stand on Dalit CM as he would not turn back on his promises. Stating that the demand for Telangana was not a new, KCR called upon the party cadre to defeat Andhra parties in the next elections and said there was no option except to achieve Telangana state for emancipation of Telangana people. He made several promises if T state was formed including 8 hours power to agriculture sector, farm loan waiver and compulsory free education from KG to PG and 3-acre land to every dalit family.
Kadiam joins TRS
Former MLA of Station Ghanpur and TDP leader Kadiyam Srihari joined TRS in the presence of KCR on Wednesday. KCR welcomed Kadiyam and a few of his supporters into the party. Saying that Kadiyam was a non-controversial and respectable politician, KCR asked Tatikonda Rajaiah, party MLA from Station Ghanpur to ensure him all respects in the constituency.
