CWG Gold Medalist Rahul Meets YS Jagan
Vijayawada: Ragala Venkat Rahul, winner of gold medal in weightlifting at the recently concluded Common Wealth Games in Gold Coast in Australia, called upon YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today. YS Jagan congratulated the Andhra boy and promised him financial help to further excel in the sport. YSRCP Chief is presently on the historic mass outreach programme, walkathon Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Krishna district and Rahul met YS Jagan during his padayatra.
Meanwhile in another development, YSRCP MLA Kona Raghupati has presented Rs one lakh cheque to Rahul. The gold medal winning weightlifter belongs to Stuartpuram in Guntur district. Presently, he is concentrating on bagging a medal in upcoming Olympic Games. On the occasion, YS Jagan wished him luck for the future.
