Man Slits Woman’s Throat And Attempts Suicide

Dilsukhnagar: A 22-year-old woman was critically injured after a man slitted her throat and then attempted to kill himself here on Tuesday..

The incident took place at Brindavan Pride hotel in Dilsukhnagar and the accused has been identified as a native of Nellore.

She was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment and her condition was said to be critical. The man attempted to kill himself was also taken to the State Run Osmania Hospital under the police's watch.

A case has been registered under Section 307 (Attempt to murder) of the IPC and an investigation is underway. Further details are awaited.
