Gone Too Soon: Woman, Toddler Consume Poison To End Lives 

Bengaluru: A three-year-old toddler and mother died after consuming poison at their house in Jayanthi Nagar near Ramamurthy Nagar on Friday.

The two deceased have been identified as Meena P (25), and her daughter Suguna K. The woman’s 6-year-old son, Charan K, is battling for life at a private hospital. The family members showed no sign of knowing as to why the incident took place. They had no clue as to why Meena would have taken such an extreme step.

The incident came to light when the husband Kumaresan, a construction worker had come home for lunch at 1 pm. He found Meena on the floor and his children on the bed, all lying unconscious. He rushed them to a nearby hospital. Meena and Suguna were declared brought dead while the condition of Charan is said to be critical.

Police said that they did not find any suicide note, neither had Meena confided about any problems to anyone.
