Speeding SUV Rams Into Nalgonda Youth, 3 Killed

Hyderabad: Three youngsters were killed in a road mishap after a speeding SUV rammed into them.

The incident occurred on Nagarjuna Sagar highway near Gurramguda village around 1 am on Sunday. The victims, who were standing on the roadside near the Runway Food Court after having their dinner were thrown off for more than 30 metres when the accident took place.

All the three youngsters were killed on spot.

According to the police, the youth hailed from Nalgonda district and resided in a rented house in Omkar Nagar of Vanasthalipuram police station area.

The police said that the speeding SUV car driver lost control on the wheel and rammed into the victims before coming to a halt. The driver absconded from the accident spot. The bodies were shifted to Osmania General Hospital morgue for post-mortem.

The deceased were identified as Khetavath Ganpati (18), a lab technician from Chinganmungi village, Daravath Sai Kumar (24) and his cousin Daravath Vamshi (19), both natives of Venkatadripalem near Miryalguda.
