Newly-Married Woman Jumps Off Building In Vanasthalipuram 

Hyderabad: A newly-married woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping off a building in Vanasthalipuram on Saturday.

According to the details, the victim, Nivedita married Raghu Prasad, a software engineer by profession six months ago.

The couple resided in Sushma Sai Nagar. Since their marriage, the couple had been having several disagreements over family matters. Even on Saturday night, they got into a huge argument. Upset with this, the victim jumped off from the fifth floor of their building complex.

The victim sustained severe injuries and succumbed to death on the spot. The police shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital mortuary for postmortem.

The family members of Nivedita lodged a complaint with the police alleging that their daughter committed suicide unable to deal with the harassment of Raghu Prasad and his family members.

A case was registered against Raghu Prasad and his family. Further investigation is underway.
