Alwal Bashyam School Bus Driver Booked For Molesting Kid
Hydeabad:A bus driver of Bhashyam School at Alwal was booked, following a complaint from a student's parent that he had molested their Six-year-old daughter. A complaint was booked on Thursday.
The victim is a student of class 1 at Bhashyam School in Surya Nagar. According to the Alwal Police, Santosh Kumar, a 33-year-old, would misbehave with the student by touching her inappropriately and calling her names. He used to call her a dwarf. The child shared her distress with her parents and soon, they apprised the school management about it. The management promised to look into the matter and sack the driver.
Meanwhile, the police took the driver into their custody for further questioning. The parents were initially very apprehensive about taking the matter to the cops, but after some convincing, they were ready to file a case against the bus driver.
Santhosh Kumar has been charged with ‘outraging the modesty’ of the child. He has also been booked under relevant sections of the POCSO Act.
He has been taken into custody for questioning, but the police did not confirm that he was arrested.
