Farmer Beaten To Death In Karimnagar

Ganneruvaram (Manakondur): A farmer was brutally beaten to death in Jangapally village of Ganneruvaram Mandal in Karimnagar district.

The farmer, identified as Anumandla Mallaya (65) was attacked with sticks by unknown assailants. Having suffered severe blows to the head, Mallaya instantly succumbed to death on the spot.

As per the details provided by the police and family members, Mallaya went to the farm well on Sunday evening. Later, passersby noticed blood stains in the field and alerted the villagers.

Sarpanch Atikam Sharadasrinivas, MPTC Anumandla Mallesam informed the police following which Timmapur Circle CI Karunakar Rao, SI Vamsikrishna, Timmapur SI Naresh Reddy reached the incident spot and investigated the crime scene.

Family members of Mallaya suspect that land disputes might have resulted in his death and demanded justice from the police. A case has been registered and the police investigation is underway.
