Meet Hyderabad’s Repeat Traffic Offender With 135 Challans, Rs 31,556 Penalty To His Credit
Hyderabad: The Narayanguda police filed a chargesheet against a person who had 134 pending traffic challans against him for traffic violations. The bike bearing the registeration plate number TS10 ED 9176 has a total penalty of Rs 31,556 pending against him. The police seized the bike and sent him to court.
The police happened to stop the serial offender named Krishna Prakash for not wearing a helmet. The police came to know that it was his 135th challan and he had paid none of his dues.
According to the police, the bike was stopped at Himayatnagar Y-junction which is a routine check-up. The Narayanguda traffic police sub-inspector M Krishnam Raju who stopped the vehicle said, "Most of pending e-challans were issued for Signal jumping, wrong side driving, cellphone driving."
