Hyderabad: In a fight between two men, one was killed under the Narayanaguda police station limits in the city. It is learnt that Baswanth, son of an apartment owner went to the top of the building where the victim Sanju, who lives in the same apartment complex, was consuming alcohol. An enraged Baswanth severely beat up Sanju and pushed him down from the top of the building for drinking alcohol in his apartment complex. Sanju was badly injured and died on the spot. Narayanaguda police took Baswanth into custody and filed a case.

In a similar incident, an alcohol addict beat his wife to death over an argument. The incident took place here on Wednesday at Challagundla in Nakarikallu mandal. The victim Venkatanarsamma (29) and Palla Nagaraju got married nine years ago. Narsamma worked as a nurse at a private hospital. The couple had three children. Her alcoholic husband Nagaraju would often fight with his wife.

On Wednesday, Narsamma gave some money to Nagaraju to pay their children's school fees. However, Nagaraju used the money to buy alcohol. Narsamma confronted her husband after learning about it which led to a huge fight between them. During the argument, Nagaraju thrashed his wife severely, as a result of which she died. The relatives of Narsamma learned about the incident and rushed to Nagaraju's house. Police also reached the spot and filed a case against Nagaraju. An investigation has been launched.
