Young Man Obsessed With Girl Attempts Suicide

Mahabubnagar: A young man allegedly attempted suicide as a girl he was obsessed with, did not reciprocate. Bhasker was besotted with the girl, his college mate, for four years. When he saw that she spurned his attempts to demonstrate his love, he tried immolating himself.

He sustained 95% burn injuries and was rushed to the hospital. Bhasker said to the media that the girl had feelings for him and blamed her parents. He alleged that her relatives threatened him on Monday.

Rural SI Bhasker Reddy is probing the case. Meanwhile, the incident has gone viral on social media.
