Class IX student ends life over harrassment

A student of Class IX in Nalgonda district committed suicide by consuming pesticides. The incident took place at Hydalapuram under Kanagal mandal in the district.

According to reports, the girl resorted to the extreme step unable to bare the harassment from a person. Anjayya, a native of the same village reportedly harassed the girl asking her to love him.

Family members of the victim alleged that Anjayya had been harassing the girl from many days. "She came home and told me that she consumed pesticides. We immediately  admitted her to the hospital," the girl's mother said. Unfortunately, the girl's life could not be saved. The police has registered a case and began investigating.
